Panama City, FL - Groundbreaking for the new the Panama City - Bay County International Airport is less than one week away.

The ceremony is set for Thursday, November 1, at the new West Bay location off of County Road 388.

The new airport will cost roughly $331 million, paid for by state and federal grants, income from the airport, and the sale of the existing property.

It's scheduled to be complete in late 2009.
